Mentoring for results

Mentors participated in this program to:

• Help an immigrant entrepreneur meet a business goal and be proud of their service to the community.
• Enhance the corporate social responsibility profile of their businesses.
• Through their mentees be introduced to a new network. Consider new options by making a friend from another culture, race, religion or business sector. Meet new business connections and expand brand outreach.
• Bring new clientele to their products or services with new cultural associates.

As a thank you for serving as a mentor in this program The Business Link and Project Managers associated with this program provided mentors with a framed Certificate of Community Business Excellence Recognition following program completion.

What was the time commitment?

The commitment was: 5-8 mentor/mentee sessions and four program meetings including the launch and celebration.
